Ingredients
  

  • 2 oz gin herbal or London dry gin preferred
  • 0.75 oz fresh lemon juice preferably freshly squeezed
  • 0.75 oz cherry syrup can use cherry cordial or homemade cherry syrup
  • 1 oz cherry juice or muddled cherries for added depth and color
  • ice as needed ice for shaking and serving
  • garnish cherry or lemon wedge for garnish

  • Strainer
  • Rock glass or coupe

Method
 

  1. Fill your cocktail shaker halfway with ice cubes, creating a cold environment for shaking.
  2. Add the gin, fresh lemon juice, cherry syrup, and cherry juice to the shaker.
  3. Secure the lid tightly and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds, until the outside of the shaker feels cold and slightly frosty.
  4. Remove the shaker lid and strain the mixture through a strainer into a chilled glass filled with fresh ice.
  5. Garnish the cocktail with a cherry or a lemon wedge for a pop of color and aroma.
  6. Serve immediately to enjoy the vibrant color and refreshed tart-and-herbal flavors.
