  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon zest use a microplane for best results
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice about 1-2 lemons
  • 2-3 tablespoons honey or sugar adjust to taste

Method
 

  1. Place the sliced peaches, lemon zest, lemon juice, and sweetener into your blender.
  2. Blend on high until the mixture is completely smooth and frosty, about 30-40 seconds, stopping to scrape down the sides if needed.
  3. Check the consistency — it should be thick, icy, and velvety with tiny fruit pieces visible.
  4. Pour the frozen slush into glasses, using a spoon to help fill if necessary.
  5. Garnish each glass with a small wedge of peach or a twist of lemon for a colorful finish.
  6. Serve immediately with a straw or spoon and enjoy the refreshing, icy burst of summer flavors.

Notes

You can customize the sweetness or add a splash of bourbon for an adult version. Using frozen peaches works well in warmer months, but fresh peaches are excellent too.
