- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and place a baking sheet inside to heat up.
- Meanwhile, chop the fresh basil leaves and mince the garlic to prepare your toppings.
- Spread the flatbread on a clean surface and brush lightly with olive oil, helping it crisp and form a flavorful base.
- Remove the hot baking sheet from the oven carefully and transfer the prepared flatbread onto it.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella evenly over the flatbread, creating a bubbly layer that will melt into a gooey topping.
- Distribute the cooked shredded chicken across the cheese, then add the minced garlic and chopped basil on top.
- Drizzle a little olive oil over the toppings and season with salt and pepper to enhance flavor.
- Place the baking sheet back into the oven and bake for about 10-15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the crust is golden brown.
- Carefully remove the flatbread from the oven and let it cool slightly, so the cheese sets just enough for easy slicing.
- Cut into slices and serve warm, garnished with extra basil if desired.
