Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons strawberry syrup store-bought or homemade
  • 1 shot espresso shot prepared hot, using preferred method
  • 1 cup milk whole or as preferred

Equipment

  • Blender
  • Milk Frother or Steam Wand

Method

  1. Blend the fresh strawberries with a tablespoon of sugar until smooth; strain if needed to remove seeds for a velvety syrup.
  2. Pour the strawberry syrup into your glass, creating a vibrant red base on the bottom.
  3. Pull a shot of hot espresso and set it aside to brew while you prepare the milk.
  4. Steam the milk using a frother or steam wand until it reaches a smooth, velvety foam and is warmed through.
  5. Pour the steamed milk gently over the strawberry syrup in the glass, holding back the foam initially to see the vibrant swirl form.
  6. Top the milk with frothy foam, creating a fluffy layer on top of the colorful latte.
  7. Carefully pour the hot espresso shot over the milk foam, allowing it to create a layered, marbled effect.
  8. Garnish with a small drizzle of extra strawberry syrup or a fresh strawberry, if desired.
  9. Serve immediately with a straw or spoon, and enjoy the beautiful, fruity coffee.

Notes

For a more intense strawberry flavor, blend ripe strawberries with a touch of honey or agave before straining. Adjust sweetness to taste.
