Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled about 8-10 medium strawberries
  • 2 bags black tea bags or 2 teaspoons loose leaf black tea
  • 1 cup hot water for brewing tea
  • ¾ cup milk dairy or plant-based
  • 2 tbsp honey or sugar adjust to taste

Equipment

  • Blender
  • Tea kettle
  • Glass or jar

Method

  1. Boil water and steep the black tea bags in a cup for about 3–4 minutes, then remove and set aside to cool slightly.
  2. Wash and hull the strawberries, then roughly chop them to help them blend more easily.
  3. Add the strawberries to a blender along with the brewed tea (cooled slightly), honey or sugar, and milk. Blend until smooth and the mixture looks vibrant pink with a creamy consistency.
  4. Pour the blended strawberry milk tea into a glass or jar, allowing some of that bright pink color to shine through.
  5. Optionally, add ice cubes for a colder drink or garnish with a strawberry slice for a pretty presentation.
  6. Serve immediately to enjoy the fresh, fruity aroma and creamy, vibrant pink appearance.

Notes

Adjust the sweetness and milk type to suit your taste. For a dairy-free version, use plant-based milk like almond or coconut milk.
